Blog Discussion - Week 1
Q.
We have discussed "passion" last week. In order to follow your passion, you first need to know what your passion is. What can you do to "find your passion"? Did you have any experiences? What are you passionate about? Answer these questions with examples.

ReplyDeleteI can try different sports, majors or entertainments to find what my passion is. To be specific, once I find that I'm good at or interested in something, I can easily have passion with it. As for me, once I played draughts which I knew only a little about with a draughts coach in the chess room in our school by accident. We got a draw with that game, then I found I had talent on playing draughts, soon I had passion for playing draughts because I was good at it and that made me feel proud.

ReplyDeleteI think the passion makes me better than before. As for me, it can become a stimuli to me. In my opinion, finding a special passion depends on myself. The passion may be inherent for me or I can discover my passion accidentally. In my high school, in P.E. class, teacher taught us to play basketball. In the first time. I believed that I could not play it because I never attach this sport before. However, I learned basketball skills much faster than other students. I soon realized I had some gift on playing basketball. After that experience , this sport makes me feel obsessive. Now, I still play basketball with my new CESl friends twice a week.

DeleteMy passion is playing video games with my friends and i have played the video games with them during the vacations. One day, I try to find and play with them of the video games when they are playing. I think that it is interesting that i play with them before i played with myself because we spoke with each other and we interested of the games.

DeleteMy passion is doing something I want to do and I wish to do. That is really using and worth. My best experience is my working hare while I am a senior student. I wake up at 5:30 or 6:ooam, and kept reading and saying English words and some formulae of math. This made me tired but I knew I should do it and keep it. I was struggling and happy at that time. That is a good experience that is hard to forget.

DeleteI will do a lot of things in order to find my passion. I would like to try something different, such as sports, music, games, movies in my free time. I like to read manga and watch anime, because I had a long time for a sick in my childhood, I had nothing to have a fun in the hospital, so I tried watching anime and became to love it. Now I am passionate in Pokemon go! I played Pokemon games in my GBA before. I really love it. And As soon as the new game came out 3days ago, I got it and went to play it with my friends. It is so fantasy. I had never seen that so many people in OU's midnight. All of them plays Pokemon go. By the way, I made lots of new friends by The game!

DeleteMy passion is doing something that I would like that I do and be interesting. The most important experiences learning English through my reading daily to some books these books that help me to practice reading.

DeleteFirst, I did many things like video game(PS2), swimming, soccer, bicycle and etc. I found my passion which is playing soccer with my brothers and my friends. I always played with my brothers when I went to trip with my family, and I always have played soccer with my friends since 2004.

DeleteMy passion is about movies. I always watching the movies to learn from. Things like the language or history. I start like movies when I was child because I was always watching the movies with my brothers and cousin's. I also like to know about the actors like where he or she is from and what's another movies they act on it.
